DAY 1: (Baghdad):
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. Visit to The Iraqi National Museum, then go to Al-Mutannabi Street, have a cup of tea brewed in a traditional Baghdadi way in Shabandar Café – the most famous Baghdad café, Visit to the copper market and the old city, Lunch break, Next go to Kadhumiya city to visit Imam Musa Al khadum Shrine ( Abaya is required for ladies, short clothes not allowed for both men and women), then visit Liberation square, passing by Abu Nawas street, A night walk down Karrada street, dinner break, back to hotel and overnight.
DAY 2: Babylon-Karbala
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. Go to Babylon visit the Ancient city of Babylon- central palace of Babylon, Ishar Gate, view of the Euphrates River in Babylon and visit one of the largest palaces of Saddam Hussein. Lunch break. Transfer to Karbala visit to the shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Imam Abbas, visit to the old town. Dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.
DAY 3: Karbala-Najaf
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. Transfer to Al-Najaf, visit Imam Ali shrine, and Wadi Al-Salam cemetery (the largest cemetery in the middle east) and sightseeing in the city. Lunch break, Then visit to the Great Mosque of Kufa, which is believed to have been built on the area where Adam, the first man human being on Earth, and some prophets known from the Old Testament spent some time of their lives, go to Nasiriyah. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
DAY 4: Nasiriyah
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. visit the Great Ziggurat of Ur and the excavation areas including “Abraham’s House”, relics of Sumerian architecture, then go to Ahwar (Iraqi Marshlands) Boat tour in the marshes, have lunch there a traditional Iraqi meal called masgoof (Grilled fish). meet the locals who have remained true to the traditional lifestyle of their ancestors who lived on this area several thousand years ago. Go to Basrah and overnight in hotel.
DAY 5: Basrah
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. visit to Basrah museum then go to the old part of the city see Shanasheel houses have tea in Al Hasoun café (one of these houses), visit the old market, Lunch break. Transfer to Baghdad (5 hours) dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: Baghdad - Samara - Mosul
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. Head to Samaraa, visit Malwiya minaret, the Grand Mosque of Samara, Abbasid Palace, Lunch break, head to Mosul, en route visit to Hatra, transfer to Mosul, dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: Mosul-Erbil
Tour starts at 08:00 AM, after breakfast. visit to Alqosh town to visit Hormizd Monastery then visit to Mar Mattai Monastery which is a church on mount Alfaf (Maqlub) about 820 m high, then, we head to Erbil Lunch break, visit to Erbil citadel and the traditional market, dinner and overnight in Erbil
DAY 8: Departure:
Transfer to Baghdad, then to Airport depending on flight time (we suggest if the group take the flight back home from Erbil airport)
