About Iraq Visa
In accordance with Iraqi law, citizens of most countries require a visa to visit Iraq.
The Iraqi Federal Government has transitioned to a mandatory electronic visa (e-Visa) system for citizens of many countries, including those who were previously eligible for a Visa on Arrival.
All travelers are strongly advised to apply for an e-Visa through the official portal before traveling to Federal Iraq.

Visa on Arrival (VoA) program for citizens of the EU, US, UK, and many other countries has largely been suspended and replaced by the e-Visa system as of March 2025.
